The location couldn't be better you can walk to the beach, and Abbot Kinney is right there with amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and unique boutiques. It felt like I had the best of Venice Beach right outside my door, and it made exploring LA super easy. The apartment is a studio, so the bed and living area are open to each other, which actually made the space feel bigger and brighter. The bed was really comfortable, and there was also a sofa bed that worked well when I had a friend visit. The kitchen is in a separate room, which I liked because it kept cooking smells out of the main space, and it had everything I needed to cook meals at home. One thing I especially appreciated was the large walk-in closet it gave me plenty of space to unpack and tuck my luggage away, which helped keep the studio feeling uncluttered. Being on the ground floor, I also had access to an outdoor area with tables and chairs. They're a little worn, but honestly, I didn't see the neighbors much, so it almost felt like my own private patio. It was a nice spot to have coffee in the morning or relax in the evenings.
