The unit is beautiful and large with hardwood floors, newly installed energy efficient heat/ac, a large patio, washer/dryer, storage, and a working fire place. We are a 5 minute walk from the zoo, 15 minute walk from the Columbia Heights metro, and a 5-7 minute walk from the stores and restaurants on Mount Pleasant Street. The unit has a certificate of occupancy and its own front and back entrances. Owner pays for water. No gas in the unit, only electric which the renter is responsible for. We split the internet--cost for the renter is $35 a month. Off street parking is an additional $100 and the car must be compact. No smoking of any kind in the apartment. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis.
