It still possesses its charm of the 19th century with its original wood floors, cut glass windows, high ceilings and magnificent woodwork. The use of solid beams of this wood back in the day must have been shocking. An updated dine in kitchen also boasts a coffered ceiling constructed from solid oak. The sweeping staircase with its barley-twist spindles and angelic newel post are a treat for lovers of the Victorian Era. The second floor newel posts are also very ornate.
