Room details
Available for move-in as soon as Saturday, October 11th (or possibly a few days earlier, if needed)! We have a room opening up at our modern 7 bed / 3.5 bath giant rowhome in the Capitol Hill East / Barney Circle area, right across the street from Stadium-Armory metro station!
The room is a semi-furnished cozy basement room (90 sq ft) with a stained glass window, recessed lighting, white noise from the ac unit, and a 2.5 x 4 ft closet for $895 all inclusive/month. Note that this room is SMALL, ideal for a minimalist (hence: cozy. If you're cool with tiny living and don't have much stuff, then this will work for you, otherwise, probably not).

You would share a bathroom with two other roommates. We all share the giant kitchen and half bath on the main level. Only singles (no couples) and no additional pets please! Us:
Diverse household of roommates from all across the world, all between our 20s-30s. 2 Women + 5 Men + 1 Open Room = 8 total roommates (when we're full). We're a bunch of federal/state/local government employees, graduate students, and professionals who work in engineering, public/legislative affairs, and at the library of congress. One of us is moving back home to New York for work. We would like to find roomies who will enjoy the place as much as we do - its in a great location, in the heart of Capitol Hill East! We cook a few times a week and have varying schedules of teleworking from home. The house is very spacious so it usually doesn't feel crowded, even when we're all home. The house vibe is laid back, professional - very chill, drama free, where people are able to hang out with roommates or go about your business. We're all expected to communicate well to keep a clean and comfy home.
