Arden Woods Trailhead is a short 2-minute walk, and though the parks department is still developing the grounds it makes for a relaxing walk, and is excellent for bird watchers and those who like to get lost in the woods. The property is close to the Staten Island Mall and other small shopping centers. There are plenty of options for restaurants and cafes, and there are a lot of fun things to do just a short drive away. The Staten Island Mall recently opened a movie theater, a Dave and Busters, a Shake Shack, a remodeled Barnes and Noble, and a Chipolte around a new open space. Staten Island is not very mass transit-friendly, but the Korean War Vets Expressway, and the 278 interstate are a short drive away opening up the entire island to you, as well as New Jersey and Brooklyn. For those that want to work in Manhattan, but live on the island there are plenty of express busses within walking distance that will take you right into the heart of the city. Commuting into Brooklyn as well is not that bad either with buses that will take you right into downtown Brooklyn. Technically mid-island this property is a short drive to everything that the South Shore and North Shore have to offer. There are plenty of great beaches within driving distance (Great Kills Harbor, Wolfe's Pond Park, and the Conference House). Very close to LA Fitness, the South Shore YMCA, and Gold's Gym. The Greenbelt Nature Center is close to, where you can find a bunch of trailheads that crisis cross Staten Island's many parks and greenspaces. This apartment would be perfect for a single college student or professional. It could be a bit tight for a couple, though it has been used before to host two without kids. The owner pays for all utilities, as well as internet and cable (Spectrum app). The first month, the last month and a security deposit are due at lease signing. (3X the monthly rent) Pet Policy - no more than one pet is allowed with prior approval. Either one cat or one small to medium-sized dog. Absolutely no smoking in the apartment or in the backyard.
