The Charles O. Robinson House in Elizabeth City, NC, epitomizes late 19th-century architectural grandeur. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this Neo-Classical Revival masterpiece was built in 1913 by Joseph P. Krammer & designed by Herbert W. Simpson as a wedding gift from William Benjamin Blades to his daughter Ivy & son-in-law Charles Oakley Robinson. The house features a commanding two-story Corinthian portico with fluted columns, complemented by a one-story porch wrapping around its sides. The entrance is adorned with Corinthian pilasters and a modillion cornice, while pedimented crossgables and dormers adorn the hip roof.
