WE WILL CALL YOU and do a phone interview before scheduling a showing of the apartment. Now about the apartment. It is 800 sq feet, 2 bedroom, 1 bath and is in Gulfgate neighbor of Sarasota (near 41 and Clark). It is on the second floor, so if you can't do stairs, this is not for you. The floors in the living room, kitchen and bathroom are tile. The bedroom floors are wood laminate. The windows are hurricane window and make the apartments very quiet. There is a common laundry room. The apartment is in a 24 unit building with assigned off street parking. We own the whole building and manage it ourselves, so we only pick people that we consider to be extremely nice. Every one of our tenants will tell you that the complex is extremely quiet, extremely safe, very well maintained, all of your neighbors are really nice, and they love living there. We are very picky about who we rent to so expect a "get to know you discussion". Why is it so cheap? What is wrong with it? Nothing is wrong. We charge all of our tenants the same rent, and we did not have the heart to raise rents $200-$500 like the other landlords. We are ridiculously underpriced. You pay for electricity and cable. We pay for water, sewer, trash, and pest control. It is a 12 month lease. You pay first ($1080), last ($1080), and a security deposit ($500) =$2660 to move in. THE APARTMENT IS CURRENTLY RENTED AND OCCUPIED SO WE HAVE TO COORDINATE SHOWINGS WITH THE TENANT. When the tenant moves out at the end of the month, we will need a few days to do any remaining clean and to touch up paint.
