Located adjacent to the Capilano River and just north of the Lions' Gate Bridge, our recently-completed, modern, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom + den townhouse (suitable as a 3rd bedroom) is a perfect fit for families and professionals.
The townhome is gently furnished, and available on a 6-month lease with the option to extend to 12 months or further. For this we are seeking $4000/month, which will include usage of utilities, including high speed wifi.
The townhouse was completed in 2023 and we have enjoyed living in it ever since. The development is full of young families and children. The mornings and afternoons are filled with the sound of laughter and kids playing. This is a very suitable home for a family.
There is underground parking available for one vehicle, but we find the public transportation, walking and cycling options to be so effective that we rarely get behind the wheel.
By bus, you can be in Lonsdale Quay or Downtown in under 15 minutes. While West Vancouver's Park Royal mall is 5 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by foot along a riverside trail.
Speaking of trails, the trail along the Capilano River runs all the way to the ocean and Ambleside Park. It also connects to the Spirit Trail, a multi-use bike and walking path which stretches between the two bridges on either end of North Vancouver. In the other direction, the Capilano River runs uphill to the base of the mountains and alongside it runs a network of hiking paths. By foot, Stanley Park is easily accessible by foot or by bicycle by taking the separated path over the lions gate bridge. It is incredibly easy to be active here. In addition there is a community centre with a gymnasium nearby, along with parks, sports fields, and basketball, tennis and squash courts.
The kitchen has ample space and the living room is comfortably sized. The rooftop patio is large and furnished with space for a barbecue, a garden and outdoor furniture with extra space left over. In the summer we sometimes sleep under the stars, particularly since the house runs hot.
There is no A/C in the house, but we have plenty of fans to compensate in the summer. The river is refreshing for swimming and by leaving the rooftop door open, the house enjoys fresh air at all times. The townhouse is three stories and the cool air cascades throughout the hallways.
The heating works very well though and each room's ambient temperature can be set individually. It is incredibly easy to heat the home in the winter.
Minimum 6 month lease with option of extension. Tank animals (Fish, reptiles, etc) okay. All utilities included, included high speed wifi. Tenant is responsible for snow removal on property steps, but not on common spaces. Tenant is responsible for cleaning gutters/below tiles on patio.
