It was recently completed and we're waiting on the Certificate of Occupancy which should only take a couple weeks, so it might be ready start of March. ADU Features: 280 Sq ft., 1 Studio Space, 1 Bathroom, 1 Closet, 1 Laundry Closet, Private Patio (In the process of being built), Located in a Nice Backyard, Easy Street Parking, Lots of Natural Light, Walk to Expo line Utilities: You will have your own electrical and internet bills. Gas, Water/Sewage, and Trash Removal will be split between everyone living on the property. At the moment, those items are about $60 per person per month, though the ADU may affect that. The Area The house is located in the Jefferson Park, a historical district with lots of stylish craftsman houses. We're located mile from the 10 freeway so it's easy to get around the city. Downtown is 10 minutes, Santa Monica 25 minutes Who We Are: My girlfriend and I (who live in the house) are both in our early 30s, I'm in law school and she works in the entertainment industry. We both work/study from home. During the week, we are typically at home working/relaxing and on weekends we like to hike, go to the beach, or meet up with friends. We occasionally rent a room in the house, so sometimes there would be another person living on the property. We use the backyard occasionally for grilling or hosting friends. What We're Looking For: We're looking for an individual who is responsible, will pay their bills on time, and will take care of the place as if it's their own. We'd like someone who is naturally very clean and considerate. While we put a lot of effort into making it a nice studio, it is on the smaller side and storage space is limited to the closet and the cabinets. So, it will be better suited for someone who doesn't have a ton of stuff. Also, due to its size, no large groups or parties. We're really excited about the ADU and think this will be great opportunity for the right person!
