In a neighborhood without through streets, so this quiet neighborhood hardly has traffic but does have plenty of parking! This is a 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom house in my large backyard -(quarter acre backyard in the city!) - built just 3 years ago. I live onsite as well in my own house. ~Full kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave. ~Bathroom has bathtub/shower. ~Private washer and dryer within the unit. ~Kitchen features stainless steel appliances. The vaulted ceilings create a sense of spaciousness within, and provides storage space within the bedroom on the sides (like high shelves where a ceiling would have been - loft space). There is also a closet in the bedroom, and extra hanging rods throughout the place. Perfect for 1 or maybe 2 people. (It's not big enough to house more than 2). Additional $150 rent for extra person. Sorry, NO dogs. Cats ok. The backyard has plenty of space for a garden, and we get lots of raspberries for a few months. There are also various fruit trees. The persimmons tree is my favorite, though once the fig tree matures more, I'm looking forward to its bounty! The Max line is at the corner of the closest intersection, and various of bus lines pass through at the corner as well. Near Mall 205 and Gateway shopping center. Utilities: Tenant pays: ~ 1/3rd electricity bill ~ 1/5th water bill You provide your own Wi-Fi. Those opting for a year lease would be considered over someone looking for a shorter lease. Available now, but open to your timeline if you're a great fit. We have older kids here part time, but it is pretty quiet here almost all the time. PS. You'll be sharing my backyard with me and my family so I want to know a little about you before I engage in a conversation and invite you for a showing. I don't want to waste time for me or you if you need something this place doesn't provide, therefore I'll know if you've read this description by whether you've shared more about yourself rather than just asking if it is still available or asking for a tour before I even know who I am inviting on my property. Thanks! Owner pays gas and trash. Tenant is responsible for 1/3 of the electricity bill and 1/5 of the water bill that comes every 3 months. Equals to around $100-125/month (maybe occasionally up to $150? They keep raising the rates...) in utilities, but keeps us conscientious about our usage. No cigarette smoking in or around property.
