The townhouse is approximately 1 mile from the entrance to the Ski Beech Ski Resort and about 10 miles from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. The closest grocery store is Fred's General Store on the mountain, with additional options like Food Lion in Banner Elk and several grocery stores and a Walmart Supercenter in Boone. The Town of Beech Mountain does a great job clearing snow off the main roads quickly in the winter months, but it is highly recommended to have 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain. During winter months, bringing snow chains is highly recommended. The stairs in the townhouse are very steep, so ensure that children, especially toddlers, are careful and use handrails. Small pets are approved on a case-by-case basis with an additional fee. Parties that may result in damage to the townhouse or any of its contents are not allowed.
