The house is 15 minutes to the University of New Haven (UNH), Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) and Yale University. It is 15 miles to Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, the University of Bridgeport and Fairfield University. Seymour, Derby, Shelton, Oxford, Orange, Milford, Stratford, Woodbridge, West Haven, Beacon Falls, Naugatuck, Southbury, Middlebury, Bethany, Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbury, Hamden, Monroe and Newtown are all close by. It is within walking distance to Griffin Hospital, trains, buses, stores, parks etc. Ansonia, CT is a nice town in the lower Naugatuck Valley.
