There is a desk, Wi-Fi, and a small stereo CD player with a place for your iPod or MP3 player. A large flat screen television is in the living room, and there's also a flatscreen TV in the bedroom. One great feature is the large sun patio, overlooking the front lawn and tree canopy. There is also a common area with a gas grill and outdoor dining for your use. Onsite parking is available. This is a dog-friendly home, and dogs are welcome with a fee of $59 per dog (two maximum). Please follow the instructions in the reservation confirmation to register your dog. If you do not register your dog, you will be charged $120 per dog. Charlotte's biggest and best fitness center, the Dowd Y, is only five minutes away. Amenities include cardio equipment, weights, group classes, and swimming. A 7-day pass is $50. The neighborhood has a mix of stately homes and craftsman bungalows, many built in the early 1900s, along with several vibrant commercial areas that provide an abundance of local restaurants and shops, making Dilworth the most pedestrian-friendly, walkable neighborhood in the city. Located just 1.5 miles from the central business district (Uptown), you'll be able to walk to 3 parks, two full-service grocery stores, 40+ restaurants (Thai, vegan/raw, Indian, Italian, Peruvian, new American etc.) massage studios, coffee shops, art galleries, consignment stores, neighborhood pubs and other amenities, along wide sidewalks under huge willow oak trees. Within just a couple of blocks are many dining options, including a sushi restaurant, one of the best Italian restaurants in Charlotte, a coffee shop, yoga studio, several neighborhood pubs (one with live music most nights), a popular breakfast spot, a full-service grocery store, and a park with a tennis court. The Lynx Blue Line light rail is only a 15-minute walk away, with trains going directly Uptown in 10 minutes. Carolinas Medical Center (Levine Children's Hospital) is 4 minutes away by car, or an easy 15-20 minute walk. Guests must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation, and this rule is strictly enforced. Dogs are never allowed on the furniture or bed. If there is hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, damage, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged an additional fee. Quiet hours are observed between 10pm and 7am. To maintain a peaceful environment, parties, additional guests, events, or large gatherings are not permitted. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside or outside the home or building.
