We are located just over the NE DC border in West Hyattsville, MD (about a 10min walk to the West Hyattsville Green Line Metro and close to many a bike path). The open room is in the basement (walkout, ground level in the back, gets a good amount of natural light) and has its own bathroom. The house has a great front yard with fig trees, a peach tree (currently having an impressive harvest), a garden, and a large backyard with a fire pit. Shared spaces are all fully furnished. Parking is free and there's plenty. Rent, lease, and move-in date: Rent is $950/month plus split utilities (we each pay $78/month) Security deposit: $950 12-month lease, then landlord is fine with month-to-month (he's also a very chill human) Looking for a move-in date of September 1, but there's flexibility About the roommates: Mikey, Andy, and Casey are 3 professional quirky humans sharing the semi-suburban American dream. Casey and Andy are RPCVs (Cameroon and Panama respectively) and Mikey supports and appreciates our Peace Corps humor. We are all clean and respectful of personal and shared spaces. We have various individual interests but communally we enjoy a good board game night, Oscar-nominated film binge-watching sessions during awards season, making smores over the backyard fire pit, and weekend farmer's market adventures.
