We are moving out of country for a few years, and was looking to put our house on the market for rent. A few things about the house, we have lived here for 3 years now and when buying the house in 2022 the HVAC, Stucco, Roof, and Carpets were all brand new. Since then we have replaced the entire downstairs flooring, renovated the kitchen, and are currently in the process of renovating both bathrooms, so the pictures you get today will be drastically changed in the next week or two. We have poured our heart and soul into this home, and do intend to live in it after retirement, so rest assured that we aren't a large company renting out hundreds of houses for way more than they are worth. We are looking for high quality people who are willing to live in and respect our home while we are away, and hopefully have it provide so many more positive memories. The number one thing I think this home has is the neighborhood. Everyone on this street has either grown up together, or lived next to each other for 10+ years. I assure you every big game day, every big boxing event, or even just a cool summer night you will find the most warming and welcoming people you have ever lived with on the porch, playing spades or watching it in the garage. Your next door neighbor is the nicest, and most caring woman we could ever have asked for, and has truly developed into a family member. Adding onto that, your maintenance is handled two houses down by a career handyman who can provide honest, immediate assistance with anything you may need. The house is amazing, but the neighbors are really what sell it. At night you can go out back and enjoy the huge tree with a firepit underneath, or on nice nights sit on the fully covered front porch. We're located only 12 minutes from base and 10 minutes from Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, the best in the nation. We're also only a few miles from Carter Lake, a massive lake with boat ramps, fishing anything you may need and is currently under construction of a massive business park which will provide even more tennis, soccer, basketball courts, along with gyms and other amenities. There is also a finished basement with a bathroom which can easily be turned into a mother in law apartment, and an attic (not pictured) which is used purely for storage but does run the entire length of the 2nd story. The house (if you apply quickly enough) can even come semi/mostly furnished for you. The washer and dryer are included with the unit, however if they break it would be your responsibility to replace them with your own units which are 100% your units, so if you leave they leave too, no questions asked. The house is also a smart home, every single light can be controlled color/brightness in an app, every door has a ring camera on it, and the Robot Vacuum/Mop are also included along with a TV in every room to get you started. We truly are looking for a nice welcoming family, that wants a safe and community based place to lay their head at night, and i'm sure this home will treat you as well as it treated us. Military does not pay a security deposit fee. Note: Pets are allowed Max: 2 Dogs/Cats under 65lbs, of course any damages caused by the pet would have to be replaced by the owners. Rent is due on the 15th of every month. Trash is provided by the city every Thursday. Utilities are handled by the renter.
