Our Amerilite, 19 foot camper is nestled in the rear of a main home in a fenced in backyard. Vine City is an historic piece of American history. Dr. MLK lived 2 blocks away. The property is located in a diverse population group. The space Near Microsoft campus, and Echo West Camper is for 1 or 2 guest long term . 2 adults, Welcome! The camper is fully equipped. There is a kitchen with stove top, microwave refrigerator, and coffeemaker. Dishes, glassware, silverware, frying pan. There is a bathroom with a tub and shower, toilet. There is 1 queen size bed with a new gel memory foam mattress topper. 1 bunk bed with 2 camper size twin beds. Plus an added bonus of a 4 person seating dinette area that is multipurpose and transforms into a double size bed suited for 1 or 2 guests. Airbnb magazines provided to enjoy.....even poo poo spray. There is air conditioning and heat. All bed linen including sheets, towels, blankets, pillows are provided. Television with Dish satellite. Wifi. Added storage underneath of the queen size bed. MLK walked these streets and Ambassador Andrew Young's family lived just blocks away also in Vine City. Atlanta has committed $500M in public and $500M in private funds for revitalization and we are so excited to see new bike paths etc. As of the fall, 2019 The City of Atlanta has spent $2.4 M renovating the JFK park directly across the street from the property including a world class soccer field, great for adults, children to play, dogs to be walked. My only issue with the stay was that we parked at the nearby Ashby marta station to get around town, and my car was broken into with my window smashed. Parking outside of the camper I never felt unsafe but definitely be careful if you choose to use public transportation. The camper is very private and quiet. Went down the street to the Walmart and filled up my fridge and cooked my own meals. Loved being able to come and and go freely without any sort of disruption. The neighborhood surrounding can be a little iffy in some spots however it was never an issue. Felt very save within the confines of the property. Will definitely go back in the future if I need a place to stay in Atlanta. Dr. M is very thorough and efficient with getting you set up. I was able to check in early which was a huge help. If you have any questions concerning the camper or fun things to do in the area you'll get a very quick response.
