Downtown Santa Barbara 3 bedroom house( 2 bedrooms available)
Looking for roommate to share space with existing renter, a single male professional who works from home. Two rooms available; one bedroom and one office, storage, or guest space(optionally).
One main bathroom with bath/shower.
Single lane driveway with room for two vehicles. Existing renter has one vehicle. Parking arrangements may be discussed later.
Shared spaces include a living room at the front of the house, a patio near the front door, and a modest back yard to enjoy some quiet time.
Kitchen space includes gas stove, since, and refrigerator. Washer/dryer available in an adjoining room near the back door.
There is a garage available for storage or recreational purposes, though not for vehicles larger than a motorcycle at this time.
There is a large hedge in the front of the house which provides a privacy screen.
The house is located in downtown neighborhood of Santa Barbara. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and services. Convenient connection to main streets and freeway.
Utilities will be split between tenants: i.e. water, electricity, internet, etc.
Tenants are also asked to maintain cleanliness of spaces, including some light gardening such as leaf pickup. A gardener with maintain things such as the front hedge.
Smoking allowed outside only. Current tenant smokes on the patio.
Initial interviews may be conducted by landlord via video conferencing. On-site interviews will be conducted by existing tenant.
Lease is month-to-month, though can be negotiated up to 6 months if desired.
No smoking inside. However, current tenant is a smoker and uses the patio outside as a designated space.
Pet visitors are welcome. Please manage pets with potty breaks outside.
Renters are asked to maintain house and exterior cleanliness. For example, sweeping and dusting inside, and raking leaves outside.
Car placement can be managed with existing renter.
