I am not EVEN going to try and sugar coat this house. I choose to be brutally honest and up front with anyone looking as I do not want to waste any of my time or yours. This fine 696 sq ft house, built in 1955, was once a very happy & cozy single-family home filled with love. We outgrew the house, moved out, and all hell broke loose, at said house, over a course of 10 years. The garage has been converted to a bedroom making the house a three-bedroom, 1 bath living space. Parking is available in the front and/or back. There is also a storage shed located in the backyard to hold whatever your heart desires. I am not sure, nor do I want to know, what was stored in it over the last 10 years, but I do know that it is empty now. For the most part the house and shed are both empty. (including the kitchen being gutted) It only took 6 trips to the city dump and one curb side pick up by our local trash service. To my knowledge the roof does not leak however it desperately needs a new roof put on stat. The top layer of shingles sits on top of two other layers…if you know what I mean. The floors in the living room and two main bedrooms are the original wood flooring and would refinish beautifully. This house has no HVAC system, no window units, and no heating. It currently has a nice draft due to a few cracked windows. I hope from the above description, everyone is aware that this house in not move-in ready! It will take days of work and a whole lot of money. It's all about the Benjamins. For anyone wanting to give a shot at flipping a house – this one is for you!! It’s a real fixer upper.
