This is on the same block with Wholefoods along with a variety of eating,drinking and retail establishments, including 24 hour open CVS & Guy Mason Park is on the next block. Glover Park neighborhood is safe, quiet and not congested. The Naval Observatory (which is just behind the building) occupies a big portion of it. Walking access to other Georgetown neighborhoods, all the way to the river, is also a big plus. The apartment is on the upper floor of a two story building. It has great central heating and two brand new A/C systems (not window units). The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas range, microwave appliances and a newly installed kitchen cabinets with granite countertop. The brand new, high capacity washer and dryer are also available in the unit. All rooms have closet spaces. There's one small full bathroom with tile floors in the apartment and the water heater is in the basement. Cats are ok and the neighborhood is also very pet friendly. We will however expect you to leave the apartment as if non-pet owners will be occupying next, having it professionally cleaned if necessary. One month of deposit is required but less than 1 year lease is ok and the deposit can be waived with prepayment of the entire lease. Water is included but electricity and gas are not. Street parking is possible but there's also a little alleyway behind the building which will increase your chances of getting a parking spot. Zipcar is also available in the parking lot next door. Wisconsin Ave has many bus lines operating frequently and will give easy access to AU, GWU and Georgetown Water is included but electricity and gas are not.
