We are a 4 unit apartment house in a mostly single family neighborhood on a "No Outlet" Street which leads into the park. We are NOT a big complex with tons of people. You will be on a first name, friendly basis with the owners! This "farm-house" comfortable building is a former schoolhouse built in 1889 and has 4 apartments of various sizes. It is situated in a residential district in the Village of Caledonia on a street which ends into the stunningly beautiful Park. The apartment building is within a stone's throw of Emmons Lake, a wild, stream-fed fishing lake on which you can Kayak or rowboat, or even wade or swim; and within a short stroll to the gorgeous, very well-equipped County Park with multiple playgrounds, ball diamonds, lake frontage and access to the wonderful multiple-miles-long TRAIL SYSTEM. You can walk all the way around the lake, too, on a partially wild and partially paved trail. We have two apartments available of different sizes. This sparkling clean, remodeled apartment is a comfortable mix of new and old, on the second floor with banks of windows in almost every room, overlooking the lake, and is 600 sq ft. It has been fully refreshed with new, easy care Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring in mixed-gray and silver in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bath. The the rooms are bright and cheerful with plenty of light. This is not your typical cookie-cutter apartment building! It is unique. There is coin laundry in the building. Spectrum Cable TV and Hi speed internet are available. We have well water with no chlorine! The office is closed on Sundays except for emergencies. There is a maximum of 2 people and 2 cars. There is no inside smoking of any kind. When you open the many windows, there is often a nice breeze, which flows through the apartment. We have window air conditioning units. MORE DETAILS: The apartment has two bedrooms, one bath; a large living room/dining combo, bathroom with tub/shower, and linen closet. There are closets or cupboards in every room. It is on the second floor. There is one flight of stairs from the front, but in back, only 3 steps coming from the back entry. The apartment house is located on the edge of town in the Village of Caledonia with a half-country/ half-town feel. There are multiple trees surrounding the area. (BTW, there is no CITY bus service for Caledonia.) There is no garage. Off-road parking is free. Walk, bike or golf-cart (which is legal in Caledonia) to the ice cream store, restaurants, grocery and hair salon, or schools. LEASE TERMS Tenants must have good credit (no collections or bankruptcies) and at least $2600 per month income per apartment. Owner pays for water, sewer, trash, snow removal Tenant pays $75 heat fee; plus electric in your own name. No indoor smoking of any kind. Deposit is $300 for damage deposit and $200 non-refundable cleaning fee. APPLICATION ~There is an application fee of $29.95 per adult, which you pay for and fill out online with ZILLOW or ApplyConnect.com. Ask us for instructions. You personally get the report back at which point you can choose whether or not to share it with us. ~Credit, background check, eviction and criminal reports are required. ~Adults must have good credit with no bankruptcies, evictions or unpaid collections, and at least $3000 combined monthly income or be able to show ability to pay. ~Maximum of 2 people. ~FIRST MONTH'S RENT is due at lease signing. ~DAMAGE DEPOSIT is $300 due on the day you move in. ~CLEANING FEE is $200 which means you do not have to do normal cleaning when you move out.
