Community Housing Initiative is a nonprofit organization committed to making housing affordable and attainable for everyone including individuals and families who have faced challenges such as prior evictions or poor credit. We believe that access to stable housing is a key part of building a better future. To help offset risk while remaining inclusive, we may require a higher security deposit in these cases: up to 1.5x monthly rent for applicants with poor credit; up to 2x monthly rent for applicants with a history of eviction.
