Failure to maintain cleanliness that results in damage, infestation, or health hazards may be considered a violation of the lease and subject to remedies including cleaning fees, pest control charges, or eviction. Tenants are usually responsible for minor maintenance like Replacing light bulbs and smoke detector batteries, Keeping the unit clean,Preventing mold/mildew by ventilating bathrooms/kitchens and Reporting major issues promptly. Tenants are responsible for mowing the lawn, trimming bushes, clearing snow, or watering plants.
