Charming and fully furnished single-family home in Madison's historic Regent neighborhood available for short-term rent from May 7 to August 10 (owners will be away for the summer holidays). The house is 1484 square feet. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen with a dishwasher, a tastefully furnished living room, and a dining room. It also has a bright sunroom with bi-fold doors for privacy that we use as a home office and a "finished" basement that can be used for storage or as an additional bedroom. The interior of the house has recently been renovated: an updated bathroom, fresh paint throughout, new furniture, ceiling lights, and drapes; interior doors will be updated in the next few weeks. New LG washer and dryer in the "unfinished" part of the basement. The dining room opens onto a sizeable backyard with a raised deck. We will leave our car in the detached garage while we're away, however, you will be able to park in the driveway; of course, you can also use the garage for storage. The house is located on a quiet tree-lined street: Chamberlain Ave between Grand and Farley. Within short walking distance you have several bus stops, two coffee shops (Barriques and Ancora), a wonderful local lunch spot (Pasture and Plenty), a French restaurant (Cadre), an Italian restaurant (Lambardino's), and a bar (Blue Moon). Whole Foods is a 15 minute walk; Trade Joe's a 5 minute drive on Monroe Street, which has numerous restaurant options. Hilldale Shopping Center is a 5 min drive West, while the UW-Madison campus and downtown Madison are just as close to the East.
