The Strathcona ridge has been sought after by whitetail hunters for quite some time, but it has really gained popularity over the last couple years from the big bucks that have been harvested and the healthy whitetail herd that lives here. This property is currently in CRP with 196ac enrolled through 2023 and has about 50ac of timber. The CRP is currently paying $30.53/ac and offers really nice grass and could be eligible for re enrollment. You have easy access from the east and north off of Co Rds. The amount of cover here is what got me excited, plus all the deer that I jumped while touring it. There are 3 different natural ridges that all make for funnels and great shooting lanes. The grass was all waist high and the pockets of brush were dense and had deer beds all over in them. The sanctuary area in the SE corner is dense pine and tamarack and is mainly high with some low ground as well.
