At its core, L'Arbre Croche is an art project. Cottage #101 embodies the development's artistic principles of modernism, blending with the natural environment, maximizing views and privacy. Since its inception, architect Robert S. Swanson has been a driving force in developing and implementing L'Arbre Croche's artistic vision and there is no finer example of his art than Cottage #101, built in 1982 to uncommonly high construction standards. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac tucked behind a magnificent 25' tall forested dune. The back of the lot abuts Little Traverse Conservancy nature preserve to give the home spectacular panoramic views. The Club's north footpath traverses the rear yard for a scenic walk to the beach.
