This creek side property was EXTENSIVELY remodeled in 2016 and includes SPECIALLY ENGINEERED NOISE REDUCTION FEATURES (see below) which considerably reduce street noise. These same features also help to thermally insulate the home. With new kitchen and new baths, the inside feels like a newly built home. It is a split bedroom home with the master bedroom at one end and other bedrooms at the other. Many crucial windows such as master bedroom, kitchen, and great room have a view of the creek and the green natural paradise of a yard that includes plum, cherry, pear, apple trees, and a grape vine. This well-lit kitchen has plenty of new Shaker-styled hickory cabinets including a built in buffet and bookshelves and plenty of counter space. Most of the house has beautiful original wood floors which are in excellent condition since they have been protected by carpet for many years. There are two decks on the east side to enjoy the creek. The two car garage has a workbench and new garage doors. We are proud of the three major noise reduction features that have been incorporated into the remodeling. First, all the windows in the house are new Milgard windows and the windows on the south, west, and north are triple pane 'airport' type windows which significantly buffer sound. Second, key walls have horizontal metal channels with rubber gaskets which helps float drywall. Third, a product called "Green Glue," is used to reduce sound transmission and has been placed between 2 layers of drywall and along the edges of drywall on key walls. These features were engineered to keep the street noise to a minimum so that you can clearly hear the creek when the creek side windows are open.
