You must open up a post office box at our local post office because mail is not delivered to houses in Silverado. UPS, FedEx, and Amazon do deliver to the houses. We also experience power outages when Edison turns the power off for fire safety precautions. If that doesn't scare you away, you will love the small town feel of Silverado. We have a local cafe, market, post office, community center, playground, and brand new Mexican restaurant. Silverado holds many events such as summer concerts, a country fair, Christmas in the Canyons, and much more! Silverado is only 20 minutes away from town, but gives you a small town feel where everyone knows everybody.
