Introducing the Treehouse! a cozy two bed, one bath private house available to rent. This is a 2 story home. Landlord lives downstairs next to the garage and the upstairs is currently unoccupied. The two floors are separated and private (no indoor staircase) with two separate keys. The washer and dryer are located in the garage, this is the only thing shared. The house is partially furnished with a couch, entertainment stand, kitchen table, chairs and shelving. The kitchen comes with cooking equipment as well. The house is clean and ready for someone to move into right away if you'd like. We can also prorate for whoever is convenient for you. Location: Bus lines and shopping is located on California which is a few blocks away. It's also very close to the West Seattle bridge (lower level one is currently the only option) and W Marginal Way SW. As far as West Seattle goes these days it's about the most convenient you can get. In the other direction you have Alki Beach, which is awesome in the Summer time. Great cycling and very easy access to the water. The house is on a very quiet road. House rules: 1. No smoking within 25 ft. of property 2. No pets please 3. Generally positive minded, mentally healthy, working individuals are who we are looking for. 4. We are only accepting applications that are fully approved in order to move in. Rent is due on the 1st. There's a bit of a grace period in desperate situations but we're looking for people who are consistent and punctual so we can minimize stress and maximize relaxedness. You are responsible for your rent which is easy to pay on the AvenueOne online portal. Half of utilities and solid waste is paid by whatever method is preferred directly to the landlord upon arrival of each bill. About the house: (refer to pics) 1. 900 sq. foot house 2. Really cool front deck for hanging out on in summertime, or whenever if you like 3. Large common area with entertainment stand and couch and whatever else you decide to bring. 4. Kitchen: Electric stove, TONS of unused cupboard space, fridge, plates, silverware, all the necessities. 5. 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs, and one downstairs (landlord is downstairs)) 6. Washer and dryer in downstairs garage Parking: a. 1 designated spot available next to the house. b. Plenty of street parking c. Good lighting There is a $50 application fee and deposit of 1 month's rent which will be stored in a secured bank account upon move in and refunded once inspection is complete. The lease expires in October but can be re-signed for an additional year if you are loving it there! :) Tenant (you) pays half of solid waste and utility/electricity bills. Internet and any other bills are included in your rent.
