This company purchases buildings they cannot afford to fix or maintain. This building floods on a semi-regular basis. Major plumbing issues that aren't resolved. No hot water on occasion as they refuse to upgrade water heaters. Weeks without heat as fall turns to winter (also be aware that you do not have any control over the temperature.) Frozen pipes if temps dip. Mold in bathrooms due to inadequate ventilation. Etc. As far as personal treatment: entering apartments without prior notice. Bait and switch rental rates and terms. Rude and condescending office staff. Don't be fooled by the cute vintage style of these apartments. They are not worth market rate rent unless and until major issues are remedied for the long term.
