    I am a student at the U of M and I am looking for a subleaser for June, July, and August. My lease ends on August 31 2019. However, if you are interested in staying, the lease can be signed in your name. I am leaving because I accepted a job offer in Chicago or else I would be staying in this unit. June rent has already been prepayed by me, so payment will be made directly to me instead of my landlord. My landlord can confirm with you that rent has already been payed for June. Property and Room Description by Landlord (Cardinal Properties) -301 University Avenue SE features generously sized one and two bedroom apartments. Most units have updated bathrooms and kitchens (2003) including cabinets, appliances, flooring and tile. Many units offer views of Downtown. All units have zoned, individually controlled hot water heating. Heat is included with the monthly rent. -Amenities: All units feature carpeting, air conditioning, full bath, updated appliances, stainless steel sink, and miniblinds. Most units also feature ceiling fans. Two bedroom apartments have two air conditioners to facilitate even cooling and huge closets in the bedrooms. This location has updated laundry facilities with water and detergent saving appliances. -Distance to Campus: Nine blocks to the East Bank -Bus lines available immediately across the street from the building. -Parking is assigned to on-site reserved spaces, if purchased. -Security Measures for the building include updated intercom-controlled access and exterior as well as stairwell security doors on each living level with Primus security locks. Primus locks provide an extra level of safety because each lock has two sets of tumblers. All apartment doors are equipped with a deadbolt and peephole. Description by me: My apartment is located on the first floor (Basement) and has two bedrooms. There is an AC unit in the living room and one in the bedroom. My unit comes with a stove, large refrigerator, and a stainless steel double sink. The bathroom includes has a tub. Each bedroom has a rather large closet. The living room also has a large closet and there is a large pantry closet. I can honestly say that I enjoyed living here. The other tenants are super quiet since my landlord told me that many are older students that are studying law and medicine. If you are looking for a quiet place, this apartment is excellent for studying. I definitely lucked out with this apartment with it being so close to campus. There is a grocery store two blocked down the road and you will be located right across the street from stone arch bridge and St. Anthony main. Being close to Northeast was really nice. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to hang out in. Walking downtown is easy as well. If you are a student, the U of M campus is a 15 minute walk and a 10 minute walk to the nearest campus bus. Biking is also easy as well, I went to Carlson School of Management and by bike its easy 5-8 minutes to get there. Same with going to main campus.
