What the owner loves about this home
I love that I’m just one block from the ocean. I promise you — the epic sunrise never gets old. There’s a whole sunrise community at the beach made up of animals and people. Most mornings, especially when the water is calm, you can watch dolphins just offshore, which has been a never-ending excitement for me. Everyone does their own thing — meditating, running, biking along the beach — while birds fish and glide through the sky. One of my favorites is Henry the Heron (yes, I named him!) who always seems to be scouting the best fishing spots. Watching the pelicans' outstanding 90-degree dive never gets old either. I love grabbing my puppy, watching the sunrise, taking a quick dip in the ocean at the dog-friendly section of the beach, and then coming home to jump in our private pool — all before the day even starts. The evenings are amazing in the backyard, which surprisingly remains cool, even during the hottest summer nights, and you can relax while listening to the ocean. If there is a rocket launch around that time, you are in luck for sure. It's a fantastic view — especially at night in a clear sky. This house is in the perfect location. It’s easy to get to the airport, the outlets, St. Augustine, and all the incredible waterfront restaurants in Daytona Shores and Ponce Inlet. You’re just a few houses from Ormond Beach, close to all the Daytona attractions — but far enough from the noise to actually relax. Shopping, groceries, everything I need is just minutes away.
