The cottage is a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom and includes a screened-in front porch, living room, dining room/office space, laundry room and nice, open concept kitchen with granite countertops. Appliances include stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, over-the-stove microwave , washer/dryer. Upstairs studio apartment is rented separately and it has it's own entrance. Both rentals will share backyard. Please don't disturb tenants! Property has security cameras. Hilton Village is a historic neighborhood located in Newport News, VA. It was built in the early 1900s. There are sidewalks, shops, restaurants, playgrounds, a small beach beside the fishing pier. It's a very walkable neighborhood. The Hilton Shops often host festivals, a weekly farmer's market and so much more!! This charming cottage is downstairs from a studio apartment, which is rented separately. During periods where upstairs apartment is rented, the cottage will share the back yard and there will also be a gardener that comes to take care of the lawn, so you don't have to worry about upkeep, but just enjoy the yard! :) The bathroom includes a bidet (instructions for use are included), which is truly a nice luxury and one of the bedrooms has an adjustable queen bed! The living room has a 55" smart TV which has complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime, plus some free channels. The driveway has room for 2 cars and there is also a bus stop 1 block away.
