I'm looking to rent out my North Tahoe Kings Beach Heights/Brockway house from mid November through March. I'm looking for a ski lease family at best, but I'll entertain other ideas. Fabulous for Thanksgiving and Holidays. 3.5 hours to the Bay Area without traffic.
13 minutes to Diamond Peak, 20 mins to Mt. Rose and 25 mins to Northstar. Casinos are almost walkable 1.5 miles away at the NV Stateline and there is often great entertainment there. Safeway is 5 minutes.
There is a nice lake view that is west facing and the sunsets can be spectacular. You can see the lake from the large deck and also the mountains on the west shore, including the top of the Palisades. There are big mature trees and world class hiking/mountain bike (or XC skiing if you are a trail-breaker) trails out the back door that go all the way up to the fire lookout at Stateline point. Fantasic views there.
I love this house and have been in it 20 years and fixed up practically every aspect of it. It has not been a rental, so doesn't have a sterile, minimalist feel. There is a 2 car garage you can use.
Inside is about 2000 sq feet, 3 bedrooms with a bonus study/office/baby room off the master bedroom. Tall, vaulted ceilings and lots of glass and open floor plan with a good size living room/kitchen/dining room. Two full baths, Greek soaking tub in the upstairs master. Also a walk in closet and gas stove fireplace there.
I'm looking for mature people who are cool and will take care of the place as I'm going to leave all furnishings and appliances, etc. We can talk about snow removal (which is critical, as is 4wd and good tires) for the steep driveway. Driveway faces south so the sun will burn off snow, but keeping it clear is important. I may be able to get a neighbor to snowblow.
I'd like to rent it starting mid November till the end of March, but we can discuss it. Thanks for checking it out. I can show it almost any time.
This is a Winter Lease. November thru March. Starting day negotiable. Rent will drop to $3k per month if paid in lump sum for 2 or more months. So $6k for 2 months, $9k for three, etc.
