A new Off-Street parking area is included for 2 or maybe 3 cars. In winter you'll appreciate this when the Snow Plow passes by and you don't need to move your car. (Shoveling snow in winter is Tenant's responsibility). Snow melts quickly here on the Southern SUNNY face of the mountain where the views are amazing!
There is Distance and Privacy between the two large bedrooms because they are on opposite ends of the house.
One Bedroom is large: 210 sq. ft. (13ft. X 16 ft.) with a 4' x 8' walk-in closet with lots of storage shelves, new drywall, hardwood molding, paint and carpet. The other bedroom is even Bigger: 225 sq. ft. (21' X 10.5') plus a closet. Both Master Bedrooms have Pine Open Beam ceilings, giving it the Mountain Cabin feel. Both Master Bedrooms have private Full Baths and Adjustable Queen size Beds. (Articulating beds can raise the back).
The House has a Washing machine and Gas Dryer, a Gas Water Heater, Gas Wall heaters. A Large Stone Fireplace with gas lighter is in the living room.
A large wall mounted LG Smart TV is adjustable to see anywhere from the living room or kitchen or the Sun Room.
Google smart thermostat and Google WiFi router allow voice control of room temp. and music etc. from a Google WiFi speaker. WiFi reaches all patios for working on your laptop under the trees, or playing Bluetooth music outside while BBQing or resting.
Due to occasional power outages, SCE shuts off power during strong winds to reduce falling power line risks. A new house "Transfer Switch" was installed which safely allows your generator (Tenant owned), to be plugged in to power the circuits you choose, so you can remain comfortable during the rare power outages. Or, instead of a generator, you can put flashlights around the house and light the gas stove to cook and imagine the lives of our ancestors just 150 years ago... without electricity! (A small backup battery is available to keep your cell phones charged).
The home will be available to mature and responsible non-smokers.
Owner will provide up to $140/Mo. for water. (in 10 years, this threshold has never been reached, even with three people living here). Utilities that are not included are: Gas, Internet, Electric and Trash. These are all available but are the Tenant's responsibility.
$2,250 Mo./ minimum One Year Lease, and a $3,500 Security Deposit, Background check and Credit check will be required.
References will be required as well as proof of your past ability to consistently pay rent.
Drug use is not allowed in House.
If you have a pet, an additional deposit would be negotiated. The San Bernardino National Forest is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife including coyotes, so pets should never be outside unsupervised.
The neighbors here are quiet, respectful and friendly, and any tenants should be the same.
