The neighborhood is great. It's close to all the great shops on Clement Street without being impacted by all the traffic/noise/garbage that comes with it. There are a number of fantastic restaurants within a block of my listing, but this is true wherever you live in the Richmond. Amenities abound - groceries, library, cafes, bars, movie theaters, parks, and retail shops are within a 1/2 mile walk. It is also very safe. There is not a problem walking around the neighborhood late at night. Public transportation is also quite accessible in the neighborhood. Multiple bus lines run within 1/4 mile of the house. During the weekdays, a 20 minute express bus ride takes you to the financial district morning and late afternoon.
