"I had a great stay at this Silverlake apartment! It's part of a duplex on a slight slope the unit is on the ground floor, and while there's another unit below, I still had plenty of privacy. The corner window in the living room let in a nice amount of natural light and was perfect for people-watching while sipping my morning coffee.
The location is ideal for anyone who wants to live like a local. There are great restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, and the neighborhood has a creative, lived-in vibe. Just be aware that the apartment is street-facing and next to a car wash, so you'll hear some noise. Parking is street-only, so it can take a few minutes to find a spot. There's also no washer/dryer in the unit, but a laundromat is just a short walk away.
Both bedrooms had incredibly comfortable queen-sized memory foam beds seriously, I slept so well. The kitchen had everything I needed: gas stove, full-sized fridge, Keurig, toaster, and good countertop space. I didn't cook much because of all the nearby food options, but it was nice to have the option.
Wi-Fi was fast and dependable for work and streaming. The living room is on the narrow side, but still cozy and functional, with some mid-century touches that gave it a stylish feel without being overdone.
