Wonderful family home for sale by owner Realtors: if/when I list it on MLS, I have someone in mind. So don't call me, I'll call you. In West Valley, amazing house with many amenities, bells and whistles. 1.5 miles to the 201. 15 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to downtown SLC. Within 2 miles are: 4 grocery stores, movie theater, Walmart, target, many other retail stores, gas stations, shops and restaurants. 2 post offices within a few miles. 3300 Sq ft: 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, separate office/den, family rooms upstairs and down. 5 car tandem garage with 10' ceilings, double mop sink with hot and cold water and hose bib faucet to wash your car in winter, 2 rows of shelves plus a set of used kitchen cabinets for plenty of storage so you can actually park your cars in the garage! RV sized 3rd car garage door. Outside RV pad. Plenty of room in front of your vehicles for an extra fridge and freezer beside the sink. Vinyl fencing surrounds the back yard with 4' gate on one side and 12' gate on the RV side, solar lights on top of the posts in key places. 6 vehicles can be parked on the driveway. Dusk-to-dawn lights at front, back and side doors and surrounding the garage doors. Mailbox is right across the street. Amazing neighbors. Great, quiet and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to Gerald Wright Elementary School. The bus to Cypress High School is a few minutes walk away. Main floor: Master bedroom with walk-closet, on-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, separate toilet, bay window. 2 additional bedrooms with built-in closets, 1 full bathroom in between. Living room, kitchen with huge bar, dining room with bay window, family room with gas fireplace. Coat closet and hall closet between the bedrooms. Vaulted ceilings throughout. Switch by the front door that controls outside outlet for Christmas lights. Full basement with 8' ceilings, 3 bedrooms with built-in or walk-in closets, 1 full bathroom and office. Family room (wired for surround sound) with 2 ceiling fans, kitchenette with counter, cabinets, under cabinet lights, small sink with disposal and space for mini fridge. Sound proofing protecting the bedroom (with solid wood door) at one end of the family room. Huge storage room with new water heater, new (in 2017) furnace and heat pump. Storage room has lots of shelves. Also includes a large cold storage room under the front porch. Under the stairs closet/storage room with light. The house is wired for cable and has many network/internet drops throughout the house. Water "tree" in basement where you can shutoff any water source in the house, in particular the hose bibs for winter protection. Other noteworthy items: Ceiling fans and smoke detectors in every room, plus a carbon dioxide detector. 50 solar panels with wifi gateway that receives updates and status reports from each one. Interactive app as well. Monthly reports showing KwH generated, how many trees saved etc. This system easily supports a family of 10 with minimal electric bills. I haven't paid more than $10 since installed in 2017. I specifically selected the new heat pump as a companion to the solar system. As long as it is 37-38 degrees outside the heat pump will operate through the solar system. Lower than that and the gas backup furnace automatically kicks in...but the solar panels continue to work, sending unused power back to the grid giving you a credit towards months of higher usage. Additional gas line run into backyard for future gas fireplace/pit, built in BBQ; whatever you want. Large garden with automatic watering: 6 raised beds measuring about 5'x10' with established strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. (want to buy some homemade jam?!). Sun solar shades to assist with keeping the house cool in summer months. Corner lot, fruit (peach, apple) and shade trees. Fully landscaped with automatic sprinkler system: roses bushes, hydrangeas, tulips and many other grasses, shrubs and flowers.
What the owner loves about this home
The family oriented neighbors and neighborhood. How easy it is to get to all the nearby restaurants, retail stores, the airport and downtown Salt Lake City. Park City and the many near-by canyons. An outdoors enthusiast dream.
