We've called this house our home for the past 7 years, and it's been such a special place for our family. Now, as we get ready to move, we're hoping to find renters who will love it as much as we have. It will be available starting November 1st (possibly sooner, depending on our move-out feel free to ask). What We Love About This Home Gleaming hardwood floors throughout that make the whole house feel bright and welcoming. A large, fully fenced backyard perfect for kids to play, a dog to run (with approval), or just enjoying the seasons. A private deck where we've spent countless evenings grilling, having coffee, or just soaking in the fresh air. Built-in closets and tons of storage that make life so much easier. A safe, quiet neighborhood where the neighbors are truly wonderful the kind who wave, lend a hand, and make you feel at home. Why Cheshire? You can literally walk to Norton Elementary in 2 minutes it's a Blue Ribbon school with a brand-new campus in the works. Cheshire's schools are top-rated, and the town is known for its family-friendly feel and safe streets. We've loved being able to walk to Big Y grocery store and nearby shops errands don't get easier than this! The Farmington Canal Trail is right nearby, perfect for biking, walking, or running. Centrally located: easy drives to New Haven, Hartford, and all the best parts of Connecticut. A Few Details The home will be unfurnished at move-in (photos may show furniture while we're still here). We're happy to repaint in neutral tones before you move in if you'd prefer. Renter sets up utilities; there's a flat monthly solar fee that has covered our electricity so far. No smoking. Pets: we're open to talking if it's the right fit. IMPORTANT: we'll only be scheduling showings for people who've submitted an application. It helps us keep the process focused on serious renters who are truly interested. This house has been our happy place from mornings on the deck to evening walks through the neighborhood and we'd love to see it become the same for the next family. Keep in mind that we have not had any electricity bills since we installed solar so it depends on your usage and consumption). Electricity bills in Cheshire are outrageous, so this is a really great option. Pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Absolutely NO smoking permitted. Minimum monthly household income of 2.75x the rent and a minimum credit score of 650 required. Security deposit and first and second month's rent due at signing.
