The Knolls is a small rural housing plat on single acre lots mostly surrounded by agricultural fields. It is peaceful and isolated from other traffic because of only one entrance/exit street into the plat. There are no street lights nor sidewalks which add to the rural atmosphere. It is a short driving distance before you are on your choice of State Routes 4 or 68. The driving distance to Springfield or Urbana is about the same providing a choice for shopping.
