- Stable employment history with current employment lasting at least 6 months.
- Non-refundable application fee to cover the cost of background and credit checks.
- Minimum credit score of 650 (per DC statute, the approval decision is not based solely on the credit score)
- No history of evictions in the past 5 years.
- No recent bankruptcies or significant delinquencies.
