By owner sublet long term. Available July 1. Will require an interview with the Board (nice folks). Our 2 children were born in the apartment and we would like to keep it in our family instead of selling it. It is a very comfortable space with good light (south facing), high ceilings and no street noise. You can open the windows and hear birds singing not cars. It is prewar so the apartment and building have character - and some characters - come on, it's the upper west side. Full disclosure - it's a converted 2 bedroom - living room divided. In that sense, the living room is not huge but cozy. If you have a grand piano, forget it. The kitchen has full size appliances: dishwasher, 4 burners plus oven, fridge and microwave. Laundry in basement. The bathroom has a bathtub. Elevator. Inside building bike storage. Please review the floorplan. Photo shows one of the bedrooms as a dining room (we used it as a bedroom). Some of the photos were professional "real estate" photos. That is they added fake furniture and curtains to make it look a certain way. I have included one I just took of living room (empty). The co-op will charge a $500 application fee and $50 credit check plus a non-refundable $500 move-in fee. I want to make this an easy decision for the board to get someone in by July 1. Better for us if no more than family of 3 (not 3 adults). No 100 lb dogs. It will be easier for me if you tell me a bit of what you are looking for and who will be living in the apartment. It is a 12 month lease with each additional year subject to board approval
