Room #2: (10' x 9.9') Good for an office, yoga, art, or sitting room - does not have a closed door, but would be solely yours to use. It has a wall of built ins for lots of additional storage/books/plants/printer, etc.. This room opens via glass sliding doors to your private back porch, nestled in the midst of the canyon. This is also where your private entrance to the house starts. The piano in the picture will be moved upstairs. Both rooms are carpeted with almost new carpeting and cushioned padding underneath, creating a warm and inviting feeling. Laundry room (shared with me) - just off of room #2. Plenty of storage for laundry supplies - both machines are fairly new and very clean. The only time I would need to come downstairs into your space is to get to the laundry room - this would not require me to go into your private bedroom or bathroom. I try to do laundry on the weekends when water is less expensive. You're welcome to do the same. Use of the fully stocked kitchen upstairs. If you want to set up your own kitchenette area downstairs with microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, electric kettle, mini fridge, etc...that's totally fine with me. But, it is not expected. You: As a housemate, I am looking for the following: Please be clean, respectful, considerate, responsible, financially stable, accountable, and be willing to take good care of your surroundings. I have raised a caring, kind, and very respectful son who lives part time with his father and part time with me. He is a serious high school student and a passionate baseball player with terrific manners and good morals. We keep a nice home and are not unusually loud or raucous. We are reasonable and likable people who prefer a harmonious, amicable home environment. We have 1 kitty who is indoor/outdoor and is not destructive or a big shedder. He is about 8-10 yrs old, has never soiled in our home and enjoys being outside. If you like cats, he will be your friend. If you don't like cats, he will leave you alone. However, he is a beloved family member and must be treated as such. No cruelty tolerated. Wifi-Fiber internet is included in the monthly rent, though you may want to bring an extender if the signal needs a boost downstairs (depending on your needs. Off street parking in the driveway is $50 per month and will fit up to a mid size sedan. Garage: Optional use of the garage for storage needs is available for an extra $50 per month.
