The unit is on the first floor of a rowhouse building. It was renovated before I moved in (about 6 years ago!) and includes wood floors, high ceilings, central A/C/heat, nice appliances, dish washer and in-unit laundry. The room has a large window and has fit a queen size bed, desk, dresser, and wardrobe (included). The rest of the place is pretty furnished but we can talk if you want to fit some more. The place is at the heart of Columbia Heights near lots of stuff. Just a few minutes walk to the Coupe and the other 11th St institutions. Just a few more minutes to 14th St and the DC USA complex (Target, WSC, etc) and Metro station! Literally around the corner from Giant grocery store. Pretty close to Petworth and Georgia Ave as well. Only a short walk or metro/bus ride away to other neighborhoods like Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan, U Street, Dupont Circle. Pretty convenient to Rock Creek Park as well.
