The neighborhood is leafy and quiet but close to most things anyone could want. A Sprout's Market is at the end of the block. A Petco and an emergency veterinary clinic are about .2 miles away. Cerebral Brewery, Tommy's Thai, Denver Biscuit Company and Denver institution Bastien's Steakhouse are no more than .2 miles away on Colfax with many other shops and restaurants. If you like live music, the Bluebird Theater is about .3 miles away. City Park with it's lakes and lovely trees (and summer paddle boat rentals and Sunday music) is one block north. The Nature and Science Museum is .4 miles away at the east end of City Park and the Zoo is on the north side of the park. The new public City Park golf course is also north of the park with gorgeous views of the front range of the Rockies from the club house cafe terrace and most of the course. Even if you never golf, this is a great place for a serene morning meal with a view.
The new Carla Madison Recreation Center and dog park is .7 miles away. Denver recreation centers are generally excellent and Carla Madison is the newest one, with lap and therapy pools, a gymnasium, and an exterior climbing wall in addition to the more usual gym equipment and classes. In the summer, a farmer's market is held nearby.
We pay all utilities, including water, gas, electricity, and high speed internet. We pay for lawn maintenance and snow removal. This is all included in the base rent.
