Inside this Cottage, you'll find a queen bed in the main bedroom downstairs and two twin beds in the upstairs loft, ideal for kids or extra guests. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas range, microwave, blender, and everything you need for home-cooked meals, from pots and pans to dishes and utensils, although there is no dishwasher. The living room includes a television with streaming capabilities, and the loft has another TV, perfect for the kids. There's also an iPod docking station with a small stereo, and the convenience of a full-size washer and dryer. Step outside into the backyard oasis, where you'll find a flagstone patio with a cozy sofa-style seating area, a table and umbrella, plus an additional table with chairs and a second umbrella, along with a gas BBQ, creating the perfect setting for relaxing or dining al fresco under the pines. Located just 2.5 miles south of Tahoe City, this gem is in the heart of the magical West Shore, walking distance to Sunnyside Restaurant, Firesign Cafe, West Shore Market, and the lake. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the nearby hiking and biking trails, and in winter, you're just minutes from Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), Homewood Mountain Resort, and around 35 minutes to Northstar. Snow removal for the driveway is estimated to be $750.00/season. Snow removal for the walkway is estimated to be $700/season.
