Entering from the front, you walk into the living room with a nice bay window that faces south to a landscaped side yard. Both the Deck, side yard and patio out back are great for enjoying those summer nights with friends and family. The kitchen/dining area boasts an entire wall of additional storage, counter space plus ample cabinets to store everything you need ... and then some. This building is well insulated for sound and the bonus is that this is great for keeping it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. We added beautiful ceiling fans in the bedroom and kitchen about a year ago and our last tenant LOVED them! All the windows and doors are double pane and insulated. Hot water heater, furnace & stove are all gas, serviced regularly and make this a very energy efficient apartment. The bedroom has two closets, one for clothing and the other for storage. From the bedroom you can access the patio in back, off street (tenant only) parking area and the community garden. This unit has a newer stacked (but FULL SIZED) washer & dryer in the unit. Bathroom includes a tub. We also own the building (4-plex) to the north of the driveway that shares the parking in back. Installed for additional security are motion sensor security lighting & cameras for the driveway, parking lot and common areas. We require a minimum 700+ credit score, no pets and no smoking (of any substance). Credit checked to verify. Tenant pays utilities: Gas & Electricity. We pay WSG, but not over an established limit, which if usage exceeds is split throughout the building by number of tenants. This has yet to happen.. We have found that by dividing the WSG among the tenants, tenants use less and it keeps the cost lower and we can avoid unnecessary raises in the rents. Our other tenants have been here many years and we like to think it's because we have fair rents, take care of our properties and treat them with respect. We have an onsite Seward that helps to collect and dispose of garbage, Recycle & Yard-waste/food scraps. Our vision is GREEN and the largest amount of removal is the recycling. Minutes from Down Town by bus and a short hop to I-5 by car... Walking distance to ALL the HOT Fremont spots, the canal, Burk Gilman trail, Woodlawn Park Zoo, local shops, micro brews & restaurants- groceries like Fred Meyer, PCC & Safeway (and MUCH MUCH more) - close to Ballard with all its new shopping, restaurants & clubs ... but just far enough back to enjoy the security and privacy off the strip.
