Here is what I expect from you. You have to be on the quiet side so the downstairs people don't hear you banging around or listening to loud music or loud talk. Absolutely no smoking of anything, including vaping (applies to guests too). No pets, no matter how wonderful and well behaved your pet is. I know I lose a lot of good potential tenants with that one, but that is my policy. You have to have good references, enough income to comfortably cover rent and be a good neighbor.
