Squier Park is a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the city, with friendly neighbors who truly care about the old homes that they inhabit, each other and their pets. The neighborhood is only 4 x 4 city blocks in size, allowing for closeness amongst the residents. The residents enjoy access to community garden plots sponsored by the local charter High School located in Squier Park. It is very common to see neighbors jogging or walking their dogs, to see children playing in the common places or to be invited for a porch party or a neighborhood barbeque. It has a beautiful historical heritage, having been part of the original property of a prominent Kansas City family, the Squier Family.
