Located approximately 70 miles southeast of Louisville, 34 miles south of Frankfort, 32 miles southwest of Lexington and 5 miles south of Danville in the heart of Central Kentucky with easy access to Bluegrass Parkway and Highway 127. In 2000, a new roof was installed in addition to new HVAC, new plumbing and electric throughout the entire house including the capping of and copper installation around the functional fireplace during a complete renovation. The upstairs kitchen was gutted and completely remodeled with new cabinets, hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. All ceilings and walls were skim coated and painted. Hardwood floors in the living room and hallway were refinished in addition to the installation of a new hardwood floor in the kitchen and dining rooms. All landscaping in the front and back were replaced and all windows were replaced with the exception of windows in the kitchen and dining room. The basement was finished with a laundry room, storage, half-bath and new kitchen featuring linoleum, all stainless steel appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator), new cabinets, new countertops with a bar area and new carpet with extra padding in the downstairs den. Next to the utility room, a storage area was created that includes strong, durable plastic shelving units in addition to an under the stairs closet that provides an optimal organizational space that could double as a studio if needed. All siding and outside lighting were replaced as well. New shutters were added to the front of the house and new columns replaced the iron bars on the porch in addition to the installation of new storm doors and entrance doors replaced throughout. The corner double lot has been sprayed and maintained throughout the year in addition to on-going maintenance of the landscaping. The yard features several mature trees that provide shade for relaxation on sunny days. A new roof was installed in 2017 in addition to a new garage door opener/motor replacement in the summer of 2017 and the installation of storage racks in the spacious, attached 2 car garage (with access to front porch) creating more storage for tools, lawn chairs, etc. In 2020, a preventative maintenance agreement was purchased from Advanced Products and Service, Inc. to check the HVAC yearly and the driveway was sealed. The basement was waterproofed by BeeDry in 2000. A new sump pump was installed by Bee Dry in 2013 and again in 2020. The outside downstairs inside and outside bathroom wall was repaired by Bee Dry in October of 2020 in addition to new paint on walls and the floor. The outside sidewalks were power washed in 2000. In 2020 the entire house, porch, windows, eaves, sidewalks were power washed in addition to the power washing of all gutters after which wire mesh was attached to them in order to prevent the collection of debris. A new dishwasher was installed in the upstairs kitchen, new faucet installation for sink and shower along with new floor and paint in the main bedroom on 2nd floor, new sink faucets were installed in master and upstairs bathrooms, new shower faucets were installed in master bathroom, all new door fixture installations for outside doors in the kitchen and the front door, installation of outside solar security lights and repair of structure surrounding the HVAC. In March of 2021, water damaged drywall was removed in the green room (walls painted green) and the room next to it, with a general inspection of the affected areas revealing no mold or structural damage. 1x2 inch furring strips the length of the room no less than 16in on center and 3/8-inch drywall were installed to cover no less than the entire ceiling of the both rooms with all exposed joints finished and painted with 3 coats. The walls were also painted. In 2022, fresh mulch was added around the house in addition to landscaping of these areas.
