Our house has a sunny 606 square-foot top-floor one-bedroom apartment available October 1 for $1730/month at 3900 Sunnyside Ave N in Wallingford, with a freshly remodeled kitchen and a view of downtown from your living room. 1 year lease duration. This is a great urban location with the tranquility of a quiet single-family tree-filled neighborhood, just up from Gasworks and a few blocks from the Burke Gilman. The unit is south-west facing and gets lots of light, and has its own entry and deck (see below). You can walk to dozens of restaurants, and two grocery stores are nearby. You can lock your bike securely in our garage, and use our tools for bike maintenance. There is a large south-facing raised bed with organic soil that you are welcome to plant veggies in. We can supply modest furniture or rent it unfurnished. Street parking is unrestricted and easily available. Shared (free) laundry in basement. The unit has its own electrical meter, and heat is electric. Water, sewer, and garbage/recycle/compost is included in rent. We can also assign you an area of the garage for storage. There is a $1500 security deposit. We are looking for a responsible and respectful renter who does not smoke, vape, do drugs, or have guns. Needless to say, we welcome all races, nationalities, creeds, genders, ages, and sexual orientations. We prefer no dogs, but cats or other pets could be considered for an additional monthly fee. We are both PhDs working in tech-related fields who will be living here full time. We are fairly handy with repairs, and will quickly resolve any problems that might arise with the unit. We are quiet, go to bed very early, and the unit does not share any walls with ours (it is separated by a staircase) so you'll be sound insulated. We have a cheerful 1-year old baby who will charm your socks off Owner pays for trash and sewer. Tenant pays for electricity.
